There is no longer any need to brave the Dragons Den with your new business ideas, as small businesses are now getting the chance to pitch for a prize that is a package of nearly £15,000 worth of design and marketing advice.
To celebrate their 30th anniversary, bosses at Michon, the creative design agency based in Nottingham, are offering their expertise to help start up companies that have ideas which stand out in a crowd.
‘Pitch It To Michon’ will give companies the opportunity to win everything from design and development of their brand to photography, website design, stationery design and invaluable hands on marketing support and advice.
Jeff Michon, managing director at Michon started the company back in 1982 and now employs 32 people at their state-of-the-art office in Radcliffe-on-Trent. He said: “The economy has been tough recently and that’s made it particularly difficult for new businesses to get going. We’ve worked with a lot of clients over the years from small companies right through to the likes of E.ON and BT and we know what makes a brand successful. We hope that by lending a helping hand to a business we really believe in, we can give them the tools they need to stand out in what can be a very competitive market.”
To win Pitch It To Michon, you’ll need to convince a panel of judges you’ve got what it takes to make your business a success and explain how you’ll make the most of the prize on offer.
The prize includes:
Website build and design
6 months SEO/PPC management
Photography OR illustration to be used across marketing materials
Marketing support including monthly meetings for the duration of project development
The judges will pick two finalists and the third will be a wildcard entry as voted by the public via social media.
