A group of small business that have discovered success in exports and imports are sharing their expertise and knowledge of global trade to create a new initiative that will help reduce the fears of other business people when entering the worldwide market.
Customers from Alibaba.com that have seen success in the global marketplace are now offering their own success stories and advice via a series of short videos posted online that focus on various topics such as setting up an online business, finding suppliers, working with manufacturers from abroad, and managing risks associated with global trading.
Alibaba.com Head of International Business Development and Marketing Linda Kozlowski commented on the new initiative by stating that too many SMEs think that global trading is only an option for larger businesses, but sites such as theirs helps to bridge the gap between buyers and suppliers. She added that the best way to help out business owners is by using examples of their customers who have already been successful.
Kozlowski went on to explain that the videos feature a handful of customers that share their insights on pitfalls and mistakes that exist in the global trading market and how to get past them to help inspire other SMEs to venture into the world of exports and imports.
Alibaba.com is a global platform that makes it easy for buyers and suppliers to do business around the world either sourcing products, finding manufacturers or selling their products and services abroad.
